There’s no turning back Nothing you can do to turn away Walking through deserted streets Well, they say happiness is worth the wait Just a picture floating in the wind Just a breeze piercing through the skin Worried ‘bout what’s going on Too much you forget to look below While the sight stings like a slap Do watch your step, miss, mind the gap Just a picture floating in the wind Just a mother’s lonely future dimmed Just a way to carry out the lie That reinstates the thoughts that never die A long back road no one has seen No one there to tell you right from wrong Time seems inadequate You wait for orders then he comes and takes you along Just a picture floating in the wind Just where another story will begin Just a way to carry out the lie That reinstates the thoughts that never die

It started off one summer day The future was to be told The past is gone, the calls been made A story is to unfold There they were, up in the railings Waiting for love to come their way Before long the dreams were set Things were never to be the same As she remembers, there were countless times She tried to forget, and she told herself lies And as their dance neared its conclusion A glance of love felt in the meet of their eyes Later soon, they were counting on each other To save their fall, to reminisce on their needs And in the right perfect moment They both knew that best friends they can't be The way it ends, it cannot be They promised too many things Time and love both are crucial to be What gives us hope what keeps us free Running away, running out on life It's not the way, believe in me Think of all the times you were happy together Every moment, every single day Don't forget it, it'll help you through Until the hope finally fades away Don't forget about him He tried his best He met her on that summer day He couldn't believe his eyes She told him stories, she was new in town She couldn't get him off her mind After months of conflict, months of pain He knew he couldn't go on He let her go, set her free She didn't want to face moving on The thought of losing all those memories Anybody would lose their minds Time and love both are crucial to be What gives us hope what keeps us free Running away, running out on life It's not the way, believe in me Think of all the times you were happy together Every promise, every single day Don't forget it, it'll help you through Until the hope finally fades away Too much has happened Too much to forget  Don't you worry about love It never disappears, it never fades away As long as your care is intact And you never forget what came your way Time and love both are crucial to be What gives us hope what keeps us free Running away, running out on life It's not the way, believe in me Think of all the times you were happy together Every promise, every single day Don't forget it, it'll help you through Until the hope finally fades away Too much has happened Too much to forget

Helpless since the days of remorse There hasn't been much to say Lately there's been no chance to grow Our limitations have flushed away Hours seem like minutes with you The clock is never gonna stop Maybe we should just start a new The very feeling has changed a lot Ten years to say goodbye I waited too long And as I stay alive Our friendship is strong Just as I believed it could be Your lovely voice in my head Just like I can see you with me You can't admit our love is dead Hours seem like minutes with you The clock is never gonna stop Maybe we should just start a new The very feeling has changed a lot Ten years to say goodbye I waited too long And as I stay alive Our friendship is strong Ten years to say goodbye I waited too long And as I stay alive Our friendship is strong

Change 05:15
You have been beside me all the way Even through the hardships and my lies Now I won't give in or walk away Trouble times have conquered all our lives Please forgive the errors I have made Without you I would be different today I can handle change to where it leads Just remember I'll come through on all your needs Just as I thought all was going well Suddenly I'm different from the rest Like a crowded room where all can tell Singled out and told it's for the best Please forgive the errors I have made Without you I would be different today I can handle change to where it leads Just remember I'll come through on all your needs

Walking Away 04:08
You've got to know This isn't me I can't let go Please set me free Walking away I can't stop myself from looking back Some other day I'll wake up and I'll be back on track It’s getting late There’s too much noise What can I say I’ve lost my voice Walking away I can't stop myself from looking back Some other day I'll wake up and I'll be back on track

No more waiting for redemption No more wondering what I'll do No more wishing for attention No more chasing after you I'll never believe what time has done No matter how tired I've been to run It's been a long long winter without you I've been searching for an answer As to why you're like you are Full of vengance, full of anger Overall it's gone too far I'll never believe what time has done No matter how tired I've been to run It's been a long long winter without you No more waiting for redemption No more wondering what I'll do No more waiting for attention No more chasing after you I'll never believe what time has done No matter how tired I've been to run It's been a long long winter without you

about

“‘Just a Picture’ is my first solo LP length album. This was a project that I worked on for over a year. Written mostly in 2017, each track represents a different story in my life; whether happy or sad. I made sure I invested enough time into the writing process and the production of the album to ensure a good professional quality final product. With the help of my good friend Autumn Buysse, the superb production of Joe Samyn, and the exceptional performance from each musician on the album, I achieved exactly that. I'd like to give a million thanks to everyone who's supported me in this long process, and thank you to everyone who has or will purchase the album.” -Diego
